What happened: Dallas built an early lead behind Bueckers' efficient scoring, but Los Angeles repeatedly battled back despite playing without leading scorer Kelsey Plum. The Sparks trimmed the deficit throughout the second half behind strong interior play from Nneka Ogwumike, Dearica Hamby and Cameron Brink. 

Bueckers appeared to put the game away with a dominant fourth-quarter stretch before a late collision sent her to the floor. She exited the game afterward, leaving teammates and fans anxiously awaiting an update.

The other side

Los Angeles dropped its fourth consecutive game despite a balanced offensive effort from Ogwumike, Hamby and Brink. The Sparks stayed within striking distance into the final minutes but couldn't overcome Dallas' late shot-making.
